Shipping Information
Because cheese is a perishable product, we take great care to package and ship our cheese in a manner
that guarantees freshness. For that reason, we offer UPS Ground shipping only during cool weather months.
During the hot months of May through October, we will only ship by UPS Next Day Air in order to guarantee
the safety and freshness of your cheese.

Almost All orders are shipped on Wed.  Deliveries are only made on
weekdays.  Due to the perishable nature of our cheddar, we use special insulation and gel ice as needed.  
We try to ship orders on
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to prevent our cheddar from sitting on a truck
over a weekend and to ensure safe delivery
.

Shipping and Handling charges are based on total weight for each shipping address. Please check your
address carefully.  We cannot extend our guarantee to orders for which we are given an incorrect delivery
address.  An additional charge may be incurred if the address is corrected and delivery made. Ballard  
Family fresh Cheddar Cheese and Cheese Curd products are perishable.  
Make sure someone will be home to receive and refrigerate your package upon its arrival.  If no one is
usually home during the day, consider shipping your orders to your place of business.

If your order is placed by mail or through our websites, it may not be entered into our system the same day.  
Ask for specifics of shipping when placing your order if in question.

Local Pickup
You may also order online and either pick your order up at Ballard Cheese  checkout. If you have questions
about when you can pick up an order, please give us a call at 208-934-4972 or email us .

Substitution Policy
In the event a certain gift item is out of stock, we reserve the right to substitute a similar product of an equal or
greater value.   

Gift Message Greetings
We will relay your special greeting exactly as you wish.  Type in your message in the comments section on
your order form, and we will include the message with your gift.

Return Policy
If you have a question about your shipment, please contact Customer Service within 24 hours of receiving

If you entered a wrong shipping address and your package has shipped, we are happy to contact Periship
and do our best to reroute your package. Please note, however, that we will not assume responsibility for any
incorrect addresses provided to us. In the event that the package can be rerouted in transit, delivery, return
and re-delivery charges will apply. We also will not assume responsibility for time-in-transit damage due to
address errors.

We are unable to replace items that perish due to the recipient being unavailable at the time of delivery. Our
boxes are clearly marked “perishable” on the outside and we are not responsible for the items received but
not opened. Please make sure that you or your recipient will be in town on the date that your order is due to
arrive.

If your package is damaged during shipment, please contact Customer Service within 24 hours of receiving
your shipment at 1 ( 208) 934-4972 or Ballardcheese4u@yahoo.com so that we can arrange a reshipment of
your order.

We do everything possible to ship according to schedule, but are not responsible for deliveries that are
delayed due to weather or "acts of God."

Shipping anything back East is very expensive we are shipping a
perishable product most gift box will cost
about $45.00 just in shipping .
I charge whatever UPS charge plus ice and 1.50 for box .
